Long exposure HDR bracketing with Arduino Bracketmeister
Posted on April 26th, 2009 at 11:45 pm by Joergen

I finally got around to post a test panorama exposed with my Arduino Bracketmeister. For those interested, the base exposure for the relatively dark backyard was 15s at ISO800/f5.6 and brackets at +-3 and +-1.5EV (2, 6, 15, 40, 120sec). Exposure fused directly in PTgui.

Thank you for blogging your work with the Bracket Meister.

I have been able to run it on a Arduino Duemilanove using the Arduino Software 0015.

It works on my Canon 400D, but even when adjusting the EVMIN I can’t get a shutter speed faster than one second. As my programming skills are all but nonexistant, is there other commands that need to be changed or is this primarily a problem with the Canon? I have read that I should be able to reach 1/250sec.

Nice picture Joergen. I remember very well this place. But with talent looks more beautiful.
